
Nuclear Weapons
Article 36 played a key role in the achievement of the 2017 Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons: we elaborated the argumentation for a ban treaty without the nuclear armed states; convened key strategic discussion meetings; and worked with partners at the negotiations for the inclusion of obligations to address ongoing harm to people and communities from past nuclear weapons use and testing.
